Food and Stress!
It's not getting any easier for me at the office - there's no doubt that I don't ever have enough capacity to get really organised and put in the kind of improvements I know need to be made and then you boss rings you 8 minutes before you are due to leave with more 'urgent' stuff and in the end you just turn off the PC feeling that if there's not another day in the week the in-tray will just keep on piling up and up and up.... back home my partner takes one look at me and says you seem really stressed.... anyway he's off out tonite and so are the rest of the family so I do another throw everything into - the Woc - Salmon, ginger, soy, orange, garlic & stir fry friendly veggies with just a hint of chilli throw on top of some baby salad leaves top with watercress & chopped corriander - mmm mmm - just a few mouthfuls and my mood starts to mellow...I wonder why that is (perhaps the glass of white wine helped as well)!

On Keith Floyd and cooking in general
After a hard day at the office I came in to get a whiff of something burning - but it was a good smell and turned out to be my long-term fella scorching a red pepper over the gas stove. "There's that lamb in the fridge - thought we might do something Moroccan with it" So I pile the meat, spices, red onion and the rest into a pan while he does the Harissa to go with it
Just to check out some variations, thought I'd 'Google' Moroccan but noticed on BBC news that Keith Floyd has just died. I played the film clip and was transported back to when he first appeared on our screens and some of the dishes he inspired me to try - some were fabulous (although I've never done the pike in red pepper since). He was a real trailblazer for TV chefs to follow but I was sad not only to hear of his death but that he thinks the British are now a nation of cookery programme watchers for entertainment rather than for getting ideas for ourselves
I can see that cooking has become entertainment but how you can watch cooking on TV and not want to at least have a bash at some of them is beyond me!
My lamb is simmering away now and it won't be long and if we have a glass of wine with it - well we'll drink to Keith tonight!
